Well it’s time again!
Time for another SCCA Autocross this weekend sponsored locally by NWOR. The event runs from about 10:00am until around 5:30pm, Sunday August 24th. You are welcome to put a helmet on, buckle up, and enjoy a lap in the passenger seat of my car. The perspective is so much different on the inside of the car! My hockey/gaming buddy Metalix will be racing his Honda Civic Si. This will be his second race so he’ll be able to enjoy this one much, much more.

The event schedule is as follows:
7:30 am – 9:00 am – Registration and Tech
9:00 am – 9:20 am – Novice walk
9:20 am – Mandatory Driver’s Meeting and schedule
10:00 am – xform.input.xml.file.sh First group of cars race
11:00 am – xform.input.xml.file.sh End first heat
11:30 am – xform.input.xml.file.sh Second group of cars race
12:30 pm – xform.input.xml.file.sh End second heat
1:00 pm – xform.input.xml.file.sh Third group of cars race
2:30 pm – xform.input.xml.file.sh End Third heat
3:00 pm – xform.input.xml.file.sh Forth group of cars race
4:30 pm – xform.input.xml.file.sh End Forth heat
5:00 pm – xform.input.xml.file.sh top 32 elimination challenge

This schedule is definitely subject to change.

What should you bring?
I’d suggest a comfortable lawn chair, sunglasses, sunscreen (hopefully you’ll need it), umbrella (hopefully you won’t need it), and something to drink. I’ll have a cooler with some cold beverages too. I will also have a blue canopy gazebo set up for you non-sun worshipers, such as myself.
