After over a week of system upgrades and updates, Atch’s Place is back up!

What I thought could occur over last weekend, actually took about 9 days to complete, but I think it was worth it.

Here are some new features:

– A brand new Photo Gallery

– A random image is displayed on every page of the main website.

– Updates to way News, Downloads and the FAQ’s work.

– Security patches to both the server and to the website engines.

Of these updates, the one which I am most pleased to announce is the new image gallery system. While there was nothing necessarily wrong with the old gallery, the new version offers some great features and even more security. There is much I still need to learn, but I hope to allow registered users on the website to create their own online photo albums someday.

I want to say a special Thank You to my friend Jim who sacrificed days to help me get through the whole process. He “signed up” for one day, but put in over 24 hrs over 4 days! I would have been offline for weeks or months without his expertise!
