2005 International Auto Show

We have just returned from the 2005 North America International Automotive Show in Detroit Michigan. New pictures have been posted in the Gallery for your enjoyment.

This year it was myself, my Brother, Jim, and Mark. There wasn’t anything really incredible at the show this year. For me the most surprising thing was that there wasn’t an Impreza to be found at the Subaru display! What the heck is up with that? I asked one of the show persons and he said, “We have no idea why there isn’t one up here. Your guess is as good as mine.” How lame!

It was the first big event where I was able to use my new Minolta Maxxum 7D. I was afraid that I might run out of either battery life and/or storage media. At the time of the show I only had one battery and one 1GB compact flash card. At the end of show, 83 photo’s later, I had full battery strength and over 200 photo’s left to take. Again, I’m very impressed with that beast!

Update:: Additional pictures have been posted on Jim’s website Lightning SP.
