Just over 3 weeks until launch.

The crew for STS-121 is now in Florida making final preparations for the launch. Everything is still on schedule!

Here is the latest information from the NASA website:

Event: Space Shuttle Discovery – STS 121 – ISS ULF1.1
Date: 7/1/2006

Time: 03:48:00 PM EST
Time: Launch window extends through 7/19/2006
Details: The STS-121 mission was developed as part of NASA’s space shuttle return-to-flight plan to complete testing of new inspection and thermal protection system repair techniques before resuming International Space Station construction. STS-121 will be the eighteenth U.S. flight to the space station.
STS-121 Discovery will deliver supplies and equipment and rotate the station’s Expedition crew by launching the next three residents and returning the outgoing two-person crew to Earth.
