The good news is that you can get up to two $40 coupons good towards the purchase of a new converter box. These coupons are being given out by the US government and are available at www.dtv2009.gov

If you are a cable or satelite TV subscriber then you probably already have a converter box and should be just fine. However if you are still old school and use the rabbit ears then you will need to get a converter box! If you have cable, but not a cable box, you will need to get a converter box. **Correction** If you subscribe to a cable TV service then they are required to do the conversion. To say again, if you have cable TV (or satellite service) you will not be required to get a new converter box. (Thanks Jeff for correcting my error.)
